Regina is a supply chain specialist by day and a self-described wind chime fanatic by night, and day. Undeterred by the lack of air movement in her windowless office, she’s trained a small fan on each of the dozen sets of chimes that hang from her ceiling. “It’s like working in a casino designed by Enya,” she said over the not unpleasant din.
Over time Regina has expanded into rain chimes, sun chimes and mood chimes. “Everyone asks about the mood chimes,” Regina said. “They sound sweet when I’m in a pleasant mood, and when I’m not, they’re durable enough to withstand a thrashing.” She demonstrated by violently shaking the chimes and cursing at them; at the end of her outburst, the chimes seemed no worse for wear.
