Celebrating MLK Jr., Zooey Deschanel

In recognition of the life and incomparable contributions of the great Martin Luther King, Jr., and the birth of quirky indie darling Zooey Deschanel, the majority of our locations are closed today.

Dr. King is a hero of the United States civil rights movement and an inspiration to victims of repression and injustice around the world. Additionally, he was 35 when he became the youngest man to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.

Zooey Deschanel has very pretty eyes and a winning presence. Additionally, she turns 31 today, which means she must have an exceptionally productive year if she hopes to wrestle the title of “youngest female Nobel Prize recipient” from Mairead Corrigan.

Thank you, Dr. King, and good luck, Zooey Deschanel.

Plus, she can sing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside”…a cappella. What a gem.
