Actual sickness foils fake sick day plans

Moments after pushing send on an email wherein he lied about being “out sick,” Marketing’s Walter Hamburg doubled over with nausea and promptly vomited. “It’s not fair,” he moaned. “I was going to go to the zoo, maybe use this GAP giftcard.” Instead, he watched three hours of daytime tv, vomited twice more and did a few hours of work from his bedroom.

In an ironic twist, he accomplished more on his “sick day” than he had in the previous three days in the office.
