Performance reviews will be next week, unsatisfactory

It’s that time of year again! Performance reviews begin next week, and you’re reminded that your input is an important formality and your opinions respected and irrelevant. As always, you will feel the review misrepresents and/or inaccurately reflects your contributions. A grievance process exists, but that too is just a formality. We appreciate your compliance with the charade, and its real world implications for your compensation and future career prospects.
